Terms of Service

Last updated: 21 April 2026

These terms govern your access to and use of ResilienceChain Ltd's (“ResilienceChain”, “we”, “us”) platform. By creating an account or using the service you accept these terms. If you don't accept them, don't use the service.

1. The service

ResilienceChain provides a cyber-resilience operations platform — incident response, compliance-order tracking, evidence custody, and regulator-pack generation. During the pilot phase we may change or limit features without notice, but we will always give you a way to export your data.

2. Your account

You are responsible for: (a) keeping your credentials safe and not sharing accounts between people; (b) the accuracy of the information you put into the platform; (c) the actions of anyone you invite into your workspace. If you suspect your account is compromised, let us know immediately via security@resiliencechain.co.uk.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to: abuse the service (scraping, reverse-engineering, circumventing rate limits); upload content that is illegal, defamatory, infringes someone else's rights, or contains malware; use the platform to harm other users or third parties; or use it in a way that breaches applicable law (including export controls, sanctions, and data-protection law).

4. Intellectual property

You retain all intellectual-property rights in the data, content, and configurations you put into your workspace. You grant ResilienceChain a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to host and process that data solely to provide the service.

ResilienceChain retains all intellectual-property rights in the platform itself — the codebase, designs, trademarks, workflows, and all derivative feedback or suggestions you provide. Nothing in these terms transfers ownership of the platform to you.

5. Pricing & payment

The Starter tier is free during the pilot phase. Paid tiers listed on our pricing page are indicative — until we have Stripe billing wired up, paid plans are onboarded hands-on with a signed order form. Invoices are due 30 days from issue; unpaid accounts may be suspended after 60 days.

6. Data export & deletion

Admins can export a full ZIP of workspace data at any time from Settings → Data & Privacy. If you delete your workspace, it enters a 30-day grace period during which it can be reinstated; after 30 days all data is permanently destroyed.

7. Warranty & service levels

During the pilot phase the service is provided “as is”. We aim for high availability and have production-grade monitoring, but we do not commit to a specific SLA unless agreed in a signed order form. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of vulnerabilities — though we work hard on all three.

8. Limitation of liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death, personal injury, fraud, or anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded. Subject to that, each party's total liability in any twelve-month period is capped at the greater of (a) the fees paid in that period or (b) £1,000. Neither party is liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, or loss of business opportunity.

9. Termination

You can stop using the service and delete your workspace at any time. We can suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms (with notice where practical). On termination, data export remains available until the 30-day purge window expires.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If the change is material, we will email workspace admins before it takes effect. Continued use of the service after the effective date means you accept the updated terms.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes not resolved informally will be heard in the courts of England and Wales.
